(More customer reviews)This is a fascinating book for those interested in the phenomenon of the flaneur. The main merit of the book is precision. The articles are written in clear Enlish and they are very easy to follow.
If you do not have time to read Benjamin's and Baudelaire's absolutely absorbing writings about flanerie, you should AT LEAST read this book.
Having read it, you will be eager to read much more about 19th century Paris and the art of idle strolling.
